京都に住んでる人の幸福度ランキングで１位の大山崎町の隣の、長岡京市行ってきました。便利ですよね。京都まで２０分、大阪まで２０分。
ほんとは、長岡天満宮～柳谷観音楊谷寺が定番コースだと思うのですが、今回のメインは柳谷観音楊谷寺さん。
花手水ブームの先駆けとして有名ですよね。秋にはもみじをテーマにした花手水が見れるそうです。梅雨の時期は、アジサイですよね。ビニール傘がキレイに、セットされてましたよ。

出光興産さんのCMになってる上書院（じょうそいん）は、今回時間の都合上パス。
柳谷観音楊谷寺着いたら、ビックリするくらいの行列で、けど３０分くらいで、境内まで行けました。行く価値ありだと思います。

I visited Nagaokakyo City, right next to Oyamazaki Town, which ranked first in a happiness survey for Kyoto residents. It’s so convenient—just 20 minutes to Kyoto and 20 minutes to Osaka.
I think the standard route is Nagaoka Tenmangu to Yanagidani Kannon Yōkoku-ji, but this time my main destination was Yanagidani Kannon Yōkoku-ji.
It’s famous as a pioneer of the hana tyozu basin trend, right? I hear you can see autumn-themed flower hand-water basins featuring maple leaves in the fall. During the rainy season, it’s hydrangeas, right? Plastic umbrellas were beautifully arranged as part of the display.

I skipped the Jōsōin Hall (featured in an Idemitsu Kosan commercial) this time due to time constraints.
When I arrived at Yanagidani Kannon Yōkoku-ji, the line was surprisingly long, but I made it to the temple grounds in about 30 minutes. I think it’s definitely worth the visit.

＜長岡天満宮（ながおかてんまんぐう）＞
学問の神様・菅原道真（すがわらのみちざね）公をまつる神社。道真公が、太宰府に左遷（させん）される際、名残りを惜しんだ地と言われている。真紅（しんく）のキリシマツツジが参拝者に人気。現在の本殿は、平安神宮の旧本殿を移築したもの。・・・引用

ほんと時期的なもので、柳谷観音楊谷寺さんは、混雑してたのですが、長岡天満宮は、ほとんど人が・・・。ゆっくり参拝させてもらえました。
京都の有名企業がちゃんとスポンサーで付いてましたよ。税金対策もあると思いますが・・・。原付で以前来た事あったのですが、駐車場はあるのに、駐輪場の場所が分からなくて、諦めて帰った思い出があります。駐輪場ってあるんですかね？

地域の人にとっての憩いの場になってると思います。やじょうが池のほとりをウォーキングされてる方、チラホラ見かけましたよ。

It was really just a matter of timing. While Yanagidani Kannon Yōkoku-ji Temple was crowded, Nagaoka Tenmangū Shrine had almost no one… I was able to visit at a leisurely pace.
A well-known Kyoto company was properly sponsoring it. I suppose there’s a tax incentive involved too… I remember coming here once before on my moped. Even though there was a parking lot, I couldn’t find the bicycle parking area and ended up giving up and going home. Is there actually a bicycle parking area?

I think it’s become a place of relaxation for the local community. I saw a few people walking along the shore of Yajōga Pond.
