平安時代から知られ、多くの文人墨客とゆかりの深い城崎温泉をはじめ、「但馬の小京都」と呼ばれる出石、湯量が豊富で新鮮な温泉を温泉を楽しめる湯村温泉など、バラエティ豊かな観光地が点在する。

城崎温泉名物と言えば６つの外湯。入浴するとそれぞれにご利益があるという。外湯めぐりに出かける前に位置関係をチェックしてから、訪ねよう。・・・引用

＜地蔵湯（じぞうゆ）＞
名前の由来は、この湯の源泉から地蔵尊が現れたという言い伝えから。「修生救いの湯」ともいわれ、地元客も足繫く通う。内湯のほか、庭園内に祀られた地蔵尊（まつられたじぞうそん）にも注目。

＜柳湯（やなぎゆ）＞
柳の下から源泉が湧き出たとの伝説が残る。城崎で一番小さい外湯だが、木造平屋建ての外観は旅情満点。湯舟は御影石造りで、ほかの外湯よりもやや熱めの湯が注がれている。

＜一の湯（いちのゆ）＞
江戸時代の温泉医学者が「天下一の湯」と称賛したことから名付けられた。温泉街のシンボルともいうべき桃山様式の建物で、岩肌を削った風情あふれる洞窟風呂が人気。

＜御所の湯（ご利益・良縁成就）＞
滝が流れる庭園を備えた解放感たっぷりの露天風呂は裏山を借景にし、四季折々の自然を感じながら、贅沢な湯浴み（ゆあみ）ができる。

＜まんだら湯（ご利益・商売繁盛）＞
山裾の緑に囲まれた突破風様式の浴場。城崎温泉の開祖・道智上人（どうちしょうにん）の曼陀羅一千日祈願（まんだらいっせんにちきがん）により湧き出したという伝説が残る。風情あふれる石造りの内湯とこぢんまりとした露天風呂を備えている。

＜鴻の湯（ご利益・不老長寿）＞
開湯は外湯のなかで最も古く、コウノトリが足の傷をいやしたという逸話が残る。温泉街の奥まった場所にあるため、露天風呂では静かに湯浴みを楽しむことができる。・・・引用

城崎温泉は、７つの外湯巡りが有名ですよね。るるぶ２５兵庫には「さとの湯」が載ってなくて。
城崎温泉駅まで大阪駅から、こうのとりで、２時間４４分で着きます。僕らは、円山川の近くの城崎・大江戸温泉に泊まりました。
晩御飯の大江戸温泉のバイキングでは、海の幸満腹いただきました。ご飯食べた後、浴衣に着替えて、外湯巡り楽しみました。一番のお気に入りは、ヒノキ風呂の柳湯です。

From the Heian period onward, Kinosaki Onsen has been renowned and deeply connected to many literary figures. Alongside it, diverse tourist destinations are scattered throughout the region, including Izushi, known as “Tajima’s Little Kyoto,” and Yumura Onsen, where visitors can enjoy abundant, fresh hot springs.

＜Jizō-yu＞
Its name originates from the legend that a Jizō statue emerged from this hot spring’s source. Also known as the “Bath of Salvation,” it attracts frequent visits from locals. Besides the indoor bath, note the enshrined Jizō statue within the garden.・・・quote.

＜Yanagi-yu＞
Legend holds that its spring emerged from beneath a willow tree. Though Kinosaki’s smallest public bath, its single-story wooden exterior exudes traveler’s charm. The granite-lined tub holds water slightly hotter than other baths.・・・quote.

＜Ichinoyu＞
Named after an Edo-period hot spring physician who praised it as “the finest hot spring under heaven.” This iconic hot spring town landmark features a Momoyama-style building and a popular cave bath carved into the rock face, exuding rustic charm.・・・quote.

＜Gosho no Yu＞
This open-air bath offers a liberating atmosphere with its waterfall-adorned garden. Borrowing the backdrop of the rear mountain, it allows for luxurious bathing while feeling the nature of each season.・・・quote.

＜(Ho) Mandala Bath (Blessings, Business Prosperity)＞
A bathhouse in the traditional Japanese style, surrounded by the greenery at the foot of the mountain. Legend holds that its waters emerged through the thousand-day mandala prayer of Dōchi Shōnin, the founder of Kinosaki Onsen. It features a charming stone-built indoor bath and a cozy open-air bat.・・・quote.

＜Kōno-yu＞
The oldest public bath in the area, it holds a legend that a stork healed its wounded leg here. Located deep within the hot spring town, its open-air bath offers a tranquil bathing experience.・・・quote.

Kinosaki Onsen is famous for its seven public baths, right? The Rurubu 25 Hyogo guidebook doesn’t list “Sato no Yu.”
From Osaka Station to Kinosaki Onsen Station, it takes 2 hours and 44 minutes on the Kounotori train. We stayed at Kinosaki Oedo Onsen near the Maruyama River.
At the Oedo Onsen buffet for dinner, we stuffed ourselves with seafood. After eating, we changed into yukata and enjoyed visiting the outdoor baths. Our favorite was Yanagi-yu with its cypress wood bath.

＜海外でも評価されるなにわの凱旋門＞
新梅田シティに立つ、世界的にも珍しい「連結超高層建築」のツインビル。３９・４０階と屋上の上層３フロアにわたる展望台が観光の目玉で、下層階には美術館や飲食店街、映画館もある。・・・引用

インパクト大だったのは、３５階からのシースルーエスカレーターでの３９階の空中庭園。ほんと異空間への入口みたいな感じ。空中庭園からやったら、淀川の花火祭りも見れるのかな？

＜Naniwa’s Triumphal Arch, Acclaimed Worldwide＞
Twin towers standing in Shin-Umeda City, a globally rare example of “linked skyscrapers.” The observation deck spanning the upper three floors—floors 39 and 40 plus the rooftop—is the main tourist attraction. Lower floors house an art museum, a dining district, and a movie theater.・・・quote.

The biggest impact was the 39th-floor sky garden accessed via the see-through escalator from the 35th floor. It truly felt like an entrance to another dimension. I wonder if you can see the Yodogawa Fireworks Festival from the sky garden?

＜自然を学ぶ内陸型水族館＞
約５０種の魚たちが泳ぐ「京の海」大水槽、「ペンギン」や「クラゲワンダー」エリアなど、さまざまな水のいきものたちに出会える。・・・引用

梅小路公園の中にあります。京都駅からすぐです。入ってすぐの、オオサンショウウオに癒されます。ドルフィンスタジアムで、イルカのショー楽しみました。オレンジの笛もらえますよ。

＜An inland aquarium where you learn about nature＞
Meet a variety of aquatic creatures, including the “Sea of Kyoto” large tank where about 50 species of fish swim, the ‘Penguin’ area, and the “Jellyfish Wonder” area.・・・quote.

It’s located inside Umekoji Park. It’s very close to Kyoto Station. Right after entering, you’ll be soothed by the giant salamanders. I enjoyed the dolphin show at Dolphin Stadium. You can get an orange whistle there.
