＜神戸ポートタワー＞
高さ１０８ｍを誇る展望タワー。真っ赤なカラーリングが印象的な神戸のシンボルは、改修工事のため休業中。２０２４年春ごろリニューアルオープン予定。夜間のライトアップは２０２３年１２月から先行して再開をしている。

＜ロイヤルプリンセス＞
関西きっての船舶サイズを誇る遊覧船。広々とした豪華な造りの船内で、くつろぎながら景色を鑑賞できる。神戸の遊覧船のなかで唯一神戸大橋の下をくぐれることも魅力だ。

僕が行った時は、まだ神戸ポートタワーは改修工事中で、２０２６年現在は、工事は終わってるのかな？KOBE　BAYCRUISEの船が、あったのでついついパシャリ。

今回の目的は、メリケンパークに新しくできたスタバ。スタバでゆっくり美味しいコーヒーを。
みなと神戸蓮で、お食事をして、お風呂入ってから、帰宅してもよかったのですが、他に行くところがあったので、時間の都合上パス。ホテルオオクラも見えました。阪神淡路大震災の時の、被害の後もちゃんと保存されてました。

＜Kobe Port Tower＞
This observation tower stands 108 meters tall. A striking symbol of Kobe with its bright red coloring, it is currently closed for renovation work. It is scheduled to reopen in spring 2024. Nighttime illumination has resumed ahead of schedule starting in December 2023.

＜Royal Princess＞
A sightseeing vessel boasting the largest size among ships in the Kansai region. Relax and enjoy the scenery within its spacious, luxurious interior. Its unique appeal lies in being the only sightseeing boat in Kobe that can pass under the Kobe Bridge.

When I visited, the Kobe Port Tower was still under renovation. I wonder if the work is finished by 2026? I spotted a KOBE BAYCRUISE ship and couldn’t resist snapping a photo.

My main goal this time was the new Starbucks in Meriken Park. I wanted to relax with a delicious coffee there.
I could have eaten at Minato Kobe Ren, taken a bath, and then headed home, but I had other places to go, so I skipped it due to time constraints. I could also see Hotel Okura. It was preserved properly even after the damage from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.

メリケンパーク行った後、コーナンで買い物してから、うはらの湯へ。
うはらの湯は、まだ出来てそんなにたってないのかな？キレイでいい感じ。ゆっくり炭酸泉に入りながら液晶テレビ見て、美味しいサウナ飯のカレーを食べて帰宅。上記のホテルオオクラで、カレー食べると倍の値段すると思う。

After Meriken Park, I shopped at Konan then headed to Uhara no Yu.
Uhara no Yu must not have been open that long? It’s clean and feels nice. I relaxed in the carbonated bath while watching the LCD TV, ate delicious curry for sauna food, then headed home. I bet curry at the Hotel Okura above costs twice as much.

西宮ガーデンズ行ったら、バーゲンやってましたよ。
リーグ優勝はしてるんだけど、日本一がなんと３８年ぶり。１９８５年以来。神様仏様バース様ですよね。岡田監督と平田さんは、１９８５年の時の盟友。この２人が、３８年間の阪神の負の遺産、全部清算して、なんとか日本一に。１９８５年の時、道頓堀に落ちたカーネルサンダースの呪いとも言われてますよね（笑）
２０２６年は、２０２５年の反省点（大山以下の下位打線の強化）を生かして、頑張ってほしいです。藤川監督もドラフトでいい選手（立石選手）ゲットできたみたいですし。後、三木市の一休庵さんで美味しいお蕎麦いただいき、丸亀シェイクも購入しました。

When I went to Nishinomiya Gardens, they were having a sale.
They won the league championship, but it’s been a whopping 38 years since they last won the Japan Series. Since 1985. It’s all thanks to the gods, Buddha, and Mr.barse, right? Manager Okada and Mr. Hirata were allies back in 1985. These two managed to clear away all of Hanshin’s negative legacy from the past 38 years and somehow clinch the Japan Series title. They say it was the curse of Colonel Sanders, who fell into the Dotonbori River back in 1985 (laughs).
For 2026, I hope they build on the lessons learned from 2025 (strengthening the lower batting order below Oyama) and give it their all. Manager Fujikawa also seems to have landed a good player (Mr. Tateishi) in the draft. Also, I had delicious soba at Ikyuan in Miki City and bought a Marugame Shake.
